Vol. 410 No. 6

Written Answers. - Lismore (County Waterford) School.

Austin Deasy

Ceist:

162 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education if she will examine as a matter of urgency an application for grant aid for maintenance work at the Presentation Primary School, Lismore, County Waterford; and if she will see to it that it is passed so that works can be completed before the start of the next school year.

My Department are awaiting a report from its professional advisers regarding improvement works requested for the Presentation Primary School, Lismore, County Waterford. This report will receive prompt consideration and a decision as regards the sanction of a grant will be conveyed to the school authorities as soon as possible. It should be mentioned that routine upkeep and maintenance of a national school is a matter for the board of management of the school.
