Ceist:102 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment the reason an application for the restoration of a thatched cottage (details supplied) in County Meath has been turned down; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is no record of an application for a thatching grant from the person named at the address given. There is, however, an application from a person with a slightly different name at the same address; in that case, payment will issue as soon as possible.
