104 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment if he will instruct driver testers at a centre (details supplied) in County Cork to discontinue testing in a private area.

108 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment if he will advise the driver testers at Mallow test centre in County Cork to discontinue testing in a particular area of the town (details supplied) as it is a private area.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 104 and 108 together.

I am advised that the road in question is a public road and that its use for driver testing does not create a traffic hazard or unduly interfere with residential amenities. In the circumstances, I do not propose to issue any instruction to terminate its use.
