593 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Education if she received representations from residents (details supplied) in Dublin 24 regarding the need for the post-primary school for Kingswood Heights-Castleview; and if she will make a statement on the present position in this matter.
I have received representations from the persons named by the Deputy. I would refer the Deputy to my previous reply to him — No. 203 of 2 July 1991 in which I stated that: "It was decided in 1987 that a post-primary school be provided in Castleview to cater for the Castleview/Kilnamanagh areas.
However, in view of the considerable capital expenditure involved, the many urgent demands on the limited capital available and the continued availability of post-primary pupil places in schools within a reasonable distance, I am not in a position to say when the school will be provided.
My Department are keeping the matter under review."
