Vol. 411 No. 7

Written Answers. - Hospital Patient Appointments.

Gerry O'Sullivan

Ceist:

169 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health if, in view of the fact that a doctor (details supplied) is no longer employed at the Mercy Hospital, Cork, he will outline the provisions being made to facilitate persons waiting for appointments with specific reference to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

I have had inquiries made from the Mercy Hospital about this case and the position is that this patient was referred to the South Infirmary — Victoria Hospital for treatment and has an appointment at that hospital for 30 October 1991.

Both hospitals are in discussion at present about future arrangements for ENT patients.
