Ceist:

114 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Defence if he will outline having regard to his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 11 on 15 May 1991 regarding a national military museum, and noting that this matter has been under discussion since 1978, the progress which has been achieved on this matter.

The question of establishing a national military museum is still under consideration by my Department. However, in the light of the nature of the undertaking and the substantial resources which would be required, an early decision is unlikely.
