Vol. 412 No. 6

Written Answers. - Landing Rights at Dublin Airport.

Michael Joe Cosgrave

Ceist:

147 Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if any foreign airlines have requested landing rights at Dublin Airport; the date of application in each case; and the reason for the delay in making a decision regarding these applications.

Foreign airlines wishing to operate international air services to/from any point in Ireland must first be authorised to do so by the aviation authorities of the state in which the airline is licensed. The airline must then be designated by such authorities to operate the services in question.

All airlines which have been designated by foreign aviation authorities to operate air services to/from Dublin Airport have been authorised by me to do so.
