Vol. 412 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Madeleine Taylor-Quinn

Ceist:

117 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will issue full headage payment to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted. Payments due to the registered herd owner under the 1991 cattle and equines headage, suckler cow and special beef premium schemes are being processed and will issue when payments commence under these schemes in December 1991. His cattle and equines headage grant will be restricted because of a limit on the amount payable per acre of the forage area of an applicant's holding.

He is not an applicant under the 1991 sheep headage scheme.

Ceist:

118 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will issue payment of a cattle headage grant to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The applications made by this applicant under the 1991 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes are being processed at present and if found in order will be paid in due course less a reduction of £223 arrears of annuity owned to the Land Commission.

Ceist:

119 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if payment in full of a special premium will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The person named applied for 1990 special beef premium on 18 animals. One of these died before inspection but my Department were not notified of the death of the animal within the stipulated ten days and accordingly payment on the remaining animals can only be made at 80 per cent of the full rate. This payment will be made shortly.

Jim Higgins

Ceist:

120 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in processing the farm installation aid grant application of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

This application cannot be further processed by Teagasc until the applicant has furnished evidence that his clear title to the land in question has been registered in the Land Registry.
