Ceist:24 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Energy whether a qualified chartered accountant has been appointed to the board of commercial State bodies under the aegis of his Department.

Each of the five commercial State bodies under the aegis of my Department include the members who are qualified chartered accountants or have a similar qualification. The details are as follows:
Electricity Supply Board, One Chartered Accountant;
Irish National Petroleum Corporation, One Certified Accountant;
Coillte Teoranta, One Chartered Accountant; One Certified and Corporate Accountant;
Bord Gáis Éireann, One Management Accountant;
Bord na Móna, One Chartered Accountant.
