97 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the financial allocation made to each local authority, by his Department, for major works on national primary roads for (1) 1989, (2) 1990 and (3) 1991.
The information requested is set out in the following table. In addition to the amounts for major improvement works set out in the table, payments for normal improvements on national primary roads in 1989 and 1990 amounted to £11.461 million and £12.253 million respectively. The allocation for normal improvements in 1991 amounts to £16.89 million.
