128 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if the Garda have received complaints from residents regarding unmarked, unlit and hazardous trailers left on a public roadway (details supplied) in Dublin 1; and if a specific trailer which is over a year at this location can be removed forthwith.
I am informed by the Garda authorities that complaints regarding the parking of trailers at the location in question were received early in 1990. On investigation, it transpired that the trailers were not, in fact, illegally parked. There have been no recent complaints to the Garda.
The location was checked on 21 November 1991 and no trailer was found parked there at that time.
