Ceist:72 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for Health the number of patients on the gynaecology waiting list at St. Joseph's Hospital, Clonmel, County Tipperary; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The provision of services at St. Joseph's Hospital, Clonmel is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board in the first instance. I have been informed by the South-Eastern Health Board that there are 136 patients on the gynaecology waiting list at St. Joseph's Hospital, Clonmel. However, all emergency cases will continue to be admitted without delay.
My Department will continue to keep this matter under review.
