Ceist:242 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the proposed reconstruction and extension to Kinvara National School, County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The preparation of tender documents for the proposed extension and improvements to Kinvara national school in Galway is well advanced and these will be completed at the earliest possible date. The question of the invitation of tenders will then be considered in the context of the 1992 budgetary situation and a decision in this regard conveyed promptly to the school authorities.
I am not in a position, at this stage to say when building works will commence.
