Ceist:

140 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Justice when he intends to introduce legislation to bring Irish law into line with the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in the Norris case; and the reason for the delay, given his commitment that the law would be reformed in 1991.

I have nothing to add to my reply to a similar question on 22 October 1991, Official Report, Volume 411, No. 4, except to say that the matter is being dealt with as quickly as resources permit having regard to the numerous urgent legislative demands on my Department, as recently announced by the Government.
