182 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment whether he has yet received the detailed report which he has sought in connection with water contamination in Naas, County Kildare; if so, the action or actions he now proposes to take in relation to the issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The detailed report referred to has just been received in my Department. I am having it urgently examined with a view to implementing quickly any necessary modifications of existing monitoring and emergency planning regimes for drinking water.
