255 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education if he has received an application for funding (details supplied) from the Cherry Orchard youth project, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10; and if he is in a position to approve the funding.
An application was received on 2 December 1991, by the youth affairs section of my Department in respect of financial aid for the proposed Cherry Orchard youth project.
All funds available for 1991 have been allocated, and as the overall 1992 budget for youth affairs has not yet been decided, I am not in a position as yet to indicate whether it will be possible to provide funding for the project in question next year.
