Ceist:4 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Marine the number of occasions in the past 12 months on which he has met with representatives of the former employees of Irish Shipping Limited.

As regards the first part of the Deputy's question I have had no meetings with representatives of the former employees of Irish Shipping during the past 12 months. As the Deputy will be aware, legal proceedings are still pending which render the issue sub judice and make it inappropriate for me to comment further on the matter.
