Ceist:38 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for the Marine when the proposed harbour improvement works at Portmagee, County Kerry, will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department are at present finalising their programme of harbour works for 1992. This programme will take account of the financial resources available for the development of fishery harbours and the priority attaching to the various proposals. The proposed construction of a pier extension at Portmagee is being considered in that context.
