Ceist:111 Mr. Roche asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the level of expenses agreed for payment in the 1992 Estimates for the chairman of each county council and urban district council.
Written Answers. - Allowances to Council Chairmen.
A decision to pay an allowance to the chairman of a local authority, and the determination of the amount of any such allowance, are matters for the elected members of each authority. Information on allowances payable in 1992 is not available in my Department at this stage.
