I move Financial Resolution No. 4:
(1) THAT the duty of excise on video players imposed by paragraph 4 of the Imposition of Duties (No. 260) (Excise Duty on Video Players) Order, 1982 (S.I. No. 49 of 1982), shall not be charged or levied on or after the 30th day of January, 1992.
(2) IT is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution shall have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1927 (No. 7 of 1927).
This is in the same style as Financial Resolution No. 3. It provides for the abolition of excise duty on video players from midnight tonight.
