339 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received proposals from the South Tipperary County Council for a special allocation of capital funding to improve facilities at the Seán Treacy Memorial Swimming Pool in Tipperary town; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department informed Tipperary (S.R.) County Council on 15 August 1991, that their proposal to provide additional facilities at the Seán Treacy Memorial Pool, did not qualify for a grant under the terms of the swimming pool programme.
