436 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education if funds will be made available in 1992 for the commencement of a school (details supplied) in County Meath; when he expects work to commence on this project; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
A short list of contractors from whom tenders will be invited for the contraction of this proposed new school is being prepared following public advertisement for contractors wishing to be included.
When tenders have been received and examined, the advancement of the project to construction will be considered in the context of the capital resources available and in the light of the Department's ongoing commitments and priorities. Consequently, I am not in a position to say at this stage when work will commence on the project.
