Ceist:

27 Mr. Hogan asked the Taoiseach if he will accede to a request to provide additional funding for a municipal theatre in Kilkenny city in view of the importance of this new facility to the area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A request for additional national lottery funding for the Kilkenny Theatre Project was received in my Department in recent days and has been forwarded to the Arts Council for their consideration.
