Ceist:67 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in paying a tax rebate to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that there was no delay in paying a tax rebate to the taxpayer. Claims due to unemployment are made at four weekly intervals. A repayment cheque for £39.71 issued on 13 December 1991. A further claim for a refund of tax due to unemployment may be made after 3 February 1992.
