48 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment the amounts allocated by his Department for 1991 for improvement works on (1) national primary and (2) national secondary routes in the counties of (a) Mayo, (b) Galway, (c) Roscommon, (d) Leitrim, (e) Sligo, (f) Dublin and (g) Kildare; the amounts to be allocated under the above headings to the same counties in 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The information requested for 1991 is set out in the following table. The figures for Dublin represent payments to Dublin County Council, Dublin Corporation and Dún Laoghaire Corporation. I hope, shortly, to be in a position to notify local authorities of their road grant allocations for 1992.
