Ceist:31 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Energy when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive a decision on his application for an EC grant towards the installation of an electricity supply on his farm holding.
Written Answers. - Electricity Supply Grants.
The application in question was approved in my Department on 14 August 1991.
The ESB quoted terms for supply in September 1991 which were accepted by the applicant. I understand from the ESB however that the supply has not been connected up as the premises for which the supply is required is not yet ready.

Ceist:32 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Energy when a decision will be made on the application by a person (details supplied) in County Cork for an EC grant towards the cost of installing an electricity supply in his farmyard where the application was submitted in December 1991.
The application in question was recently approved in my Department. The ESB will be in touch with the applicant shortly to quote him terms for supply. As soon as the ESB are notified of acceptance of the terms, the applicant will be placed on their work programme and the supply will be connected in due course.
