48 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline (1) the quantity of recycled paper used in his Department in each of the last four years and (2) the increase/decrease in the use of these products, and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The information sought in the question is not readily available in my Department and would have to be specially compiled. This could be done only by diverting scarce staff resources from other more pressing tasks, which would not be warranted.
However, most of the paper used in my Department is supplied by the Government supplies agency and I am informed that a small amount is recycled paper.
