Ceist:

140 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Marine if his attention has been drawn to the deplorable state of Annagassan harbour in County Louth and the fact that the dredging of the channel of this harbour is badly required; if he has any plans to assist the local authority in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There are no funds available to me to grant aid dredging at Annagassan harbour at this time. I will however arrange to have the matter discussed with the local authority.
