Ceist:196 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Education if he will give details of all national lottery funding allocated to County Westmeath since the national lottery began operating.

The information requested by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department and would require an inordinate amount of official time to collate.
Details of projects and bodies grant aided by my Department from lottery funds in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1990 are available in the published Appropriation Accounts for those years.
I will be glad to provide details of any specific projects in which the Deputy has a particular interest.
