Ceist:231 Mr. Stafford asked the Minister for the Environment if he will direct that smokeless solid fuel open fires with back boilers are included in the eligibility for a grant for using smokeless fuels.

I assume that the question relates to the schemes of financial assistance introduced in relation to a number of special control areas established by Dublin Corporation under Part IV of the Air Pollution Act, 1987. These grant schemes have been terminated and all grant commitments under them have been discharged.
