269 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will have payment of a beef premium scheme grant made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has been refused this because he had some of his animals sold prior to having the cards punched.

The person named has been deemed ineligible for payment of grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme because he did not honour his undertaking to keep all the male cattle on which he had applied for premium for two months from the date of lodgment of his application.
