Frank Crowley

Ceist:

273 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has applied for a suckler cow grant.

Further investigation is necessary in this case before it can be established whether or not grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium for small-scale milk producers can be paid to the person named.

Brian O'Shea

Ceist:

274 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay with the beef premium payments due to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This person has been deemed ineligible for payment of grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme because he sold two animals without submitting their cattle identify cards to my Department for inspection, stamping and punching before sále as required and because he listed on his application an animal on which premium had been claimed already.

John V. Farrelly

275 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This person's application for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order payment will be made shortly.

This person's applications for grants under the 1991 special beef premium and suckler cow schemes are being processed at present and if found in order payments will be made shortly.

Michael Moynihan

277 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in the payment of a sheep headage grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

My Department is unable to trace the person named. However, the person to whom the quoted herd number refers was paid the 1991 sheep headage grant on 3 December 1991.

Paul Bradford

Ceist:

278 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a special beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This applicants 1991 special beef premium scheme grant is being processed at present and if found in order a payable order for £2,706.55 will issue to him shortly.

Michael Moynihan

Ceist:

279 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in payment of a headage grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

Further investigation is necessary in the case before a decision can be taken as to whether or not a grant can be paid to the person named.
