Ceist:21 Mr. Kenny asked the Taoiseach if he will outline the percentage of the total labour force unemployed at present; the way in which this compares to other member states of the EC, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

International comparisons of unemployment rates for member states of the EC are published monthly by EUROSTAT. The information requested by the Deputy has been extracted from the most recently published data relating to January 1992 and is contained in a statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
