Ceist:105 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to the anomaly concerning the children's allowance scheme run by his Department for the Defence Forces whereby under paragraph 6 (b) of DFR S3, the allowance is not payable in respect of children who, prior to the passing of the Status of Children Act, were regarded as illegitimate; if he will make an amendment to eliminate discrimination between groups of children; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
