Ceist:

130 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Finance if he intends to adhere to the provision of section 13 of the Wildlife Act, 1976 by making a ministerial order to set up a wildlife advisory council immediately; the reason he has failed to abide to the provisions of the Act to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Since my recent return to this office I am actively considering the appointment of members to the Wildlife Advisory Council. The reappointment of members to the Wildlife Advisory Council was deferred pending clarification of the role of the council vis-à-vis that of the Heritage Council.
