Vol. 417 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Cork Areas Designation.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

157 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if an application has been received from an area (details supplied) in County Cork for inclusion in the disadvantaged areas scheme under the appeal procedure; when it is anticipated that an inspection will take place; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

159 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline the townlands in the district electoral divisions of Macloneigh, Tarelton and Aughinagh which are under consideration by the appeals board for inclusion in the disadvantaged areas scheme; and if he will outline the present position regarding same.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 157 and 159 together.

The district electoral division of Cannaway, County Cork and the following townlands which are also under consideration by the appeals panel have been surveyed recently by departmental inspectors: Inchinashingane, Kilnarovanagh and Tooms East in the district electoral division of Macloneigh; Ardaneneen, Rossnakilla and Teerelton in the district electoral division of Teerelton; Beheena, Carrigathou, Drombeg, Knockacroghera and Shanavagha in the district electoral division of Aghinagh.
