I recently commissioned an independent consultancy study into the technical and economic feasibility of continuing the operation of Arigna power station.
The Deputy will be aware from my press statement of 5 March that the consultants have concluded, based on their investigation, that the continued operation of the station past its proposed closure date is not a competitive proposition.
