Ceist:

199 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education if he will outline the extent of the assistance being given by his Department to a group (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he has satisfied himself that this assistance is a satisfactory response to the ongoing needs of this group.

My Department do not provide funding directly to the group in question.

Funds are allocated, however, to the National Youth Federation to which the group is affiliated. The actual distribution of funds by the federation is a matter for that body.
