Ceist:210 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Education if he will outline, (1) the number of new entrants into the colleges of higher education in the years 1974 to 1991 on an individual basis, (2) the actual student numbers in all these institutions in the same years, (3) the actual amount of Government funding to these particular institutions in the same years and the percentage of the total budget which this grant reflects, (4) the attrition rates in the institutions on an annual basis and the percentage of pupils beginning third level that actually qualify with a degree or diploma and (5) the statistics which can be given for the entrance/exit rate of students in the non-manual, skilled, semi-skilled, unskilled, manual and other agricultural socio-economic groupings.
