P. J. Sheehan

Ceist:

381 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of sheep headage grants for 1987 and 1988; and the reason payments of the grants are being withheld in this case as all information requested has been submitted by the applicant.

The person named did not apply for the 1987 sheep headage grant. The 1988 sheep headage was paid on 11 November 1988. As a result of a land leasing query, the 1989 sheep headage grant was not paid and I have now arranged to have this grant paid immediately. All other sheep headage payments due to this person have been paid.

Donal Carey

Ceist:

382 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid his headage grant for 1991; and when the file was passed from the Ennis office of his Department.

This applicant has been paid his 1991 beef cow and special beef premium schemes grants already.

His 1991 suckler cow premium scheme grant is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly. The 1991 special beef premium, cattle headage and suckler cow premium schemes applications were passed for payment by the local office on 11 December 1991, 21 February 1992 and 21 February 1992, respectively.
