Ceist:332 Mr. Wyse asked the Minister for Labour the number of people from Cork city and county who were trained by CERT in 1990 and 1991.

The numbers of persons from Cork city and county who have been trained by or on behalf of CERT in 1990 and 1991 on its craft and unemployed training courses were 593 and 667 respectively.
In addition training was provided in Cork under CERT industry courses for people already employed in the tourism industry generally. The numbers involved in 1990 and 1991 were 580 and 267 respectively. CERT does not maintain data relating to the areas of residence of these trainees as the courses involved are only of one to five days duration.
