67 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in settling a review of tax liabilities for the year ending 5 April 1992 in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that no request has been received from the taxpayer to review his tax liability for the income tax year 1991-92. He should now submit his form P60 (P45 if employment ceased before 5 April 1992) and his wife's form P60 to his inspector of taxes with a request to have his 1991-92 liability reviewed. On receipt of this information the inspector of taxes will review his liability and any refund due will be made.
