Ceist:111 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if he has approved a community school for a location (details supplied) in County Mayo.

The managements of the two postprimary schools in the centre have agreed to the establishment of a community school, replacing the two existing schools.
I, and my Department, support this move towards establishing a single school in the centre and the question of implementation within available resources is now under active consideration.
