97 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Education if he has received tenders for a school (details supplied) in County Limerick; when he expects to appoint a builder for this school; when building will commence; when the extra accommodation will be occupied; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Tenders for the proposed extension to the school in County Limerick referred to by the Deputy were received on 15 May 1992 and are being examined. Funding for this project has been included in the 1992 capital programme for national schools. Pending the outcome of the examination of the tenders, it is not possible to say when a builder will be appointed or when building will commence.
