Ceist:130 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline the proposed composition of the National Consultative Committee on Rural Development; and whether it will contain any elected representatives.

While the Committee is intended to be primarily representative of the Departments and other State agencies concerned, the question of inclusion of other interests, such as elected representatives, is being considered.
