Vol. 421 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cavan National School.

Andrew Boylan

Ceist:

15 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the conditions at Crubany national school, Crubany, County Cavan; if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that the guttering is in disrepair causing the water to run down the walls and stagnate; and if he could have this investigated with a view to funding to have the necessary repairs carried out.

No request appears to have been made to my Department concerning problems with guttering for the school in question. I understand, however, that an application has been forwarded very recently in respect of a ballcourt at the school and this application is being processed in the normal way. I would like to assure the Deputy that should an application be made in respect of defective guttering, it will be given every consideration.
