70 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Education if he will outline (a) the number of second level schools in Clare which necessitate new or additional building works, (b) the stage of planning of each at present in his Department and (c) when he expects building to commence in all cases.
Major post-primary projects are being planned in Ennis, Kilkee and Kilrush. Architectural planning is at an advanced stage in the case of Ennis and Kilkee, and at an early stage in the case of Kilrush. However, I am not in a position to indicate when these works will commence, as this would depend upon the completion of the architectural planning in each case and also upon the financial resources available at the time.
