Ceist:

193 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline (a) the allocation to group water schemes for 1992, (b) the amount of the allocation which has been paid and (c) the balance remaining to be allocated; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Smith)

£2 million has been provided for group water scheme grants in 1992, all of which is committed at this time. Grant payments for the year to date amount to approximately £600,000.
