Ceist:

147 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Justice if he has been in contact with the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Sir Patrick Mayhew, concerning the discovery of the body of a woman in a shallow grave at Mullaghmore, County Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Justice (Mr. Flynn):

In a matter such as this contact would normally be made at police and not at Ministerial level. I can confirm that there is continuing contact between the Garda Síochána and the RUC in the course of their respective investigations into this matter.
