Ceist:57 Mr. V. Brady asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline the total cost of required repairs and restoration to the stone work of Leinster House; and when it is intended to commence the appropriate work.
Written Answers. - Leinster House Stone Work.
The first phase of the cleaning and repairs of the stonework of Leinster House, consisting of the cleaning and surveying of the Kildare Street facade of Leinster House, will be carried out during the coming summer recess.
The specification for the repair and restoration of the stonework will depend on the outcome of the detailed survey. Accordingly, at this stage it is not possible to give an estimate of the total cost of the work.
